Expanding VMware hard disk

Yes, you can increase hard disk size of your VM. It doesn’t matter if you have software installed and working on it.  Go to Virtual Machine Settings. Under Hardware, select Hard Disk (SCSI) (Device column). On right side, you will see Utilities drop down, open it and select Expand Disk Capacity. Enter size and click Expand button. Expansion process will take some time depending on the new size you entered.

It’s nice information. Is there any way to expand VHD in Virtual PC or Virtual Server 2005?
