Today I was working with MOSS 2007, creating some site groups.  But when adding some new site groups to MOSS 2007 and I wanted the same AD group name as member, moss 2007 didn't accepted. I thougt 2003 did accept.

Sitegroupname:                AD group

Teachers                          Teachers

So always choose a differtent sitegroupname as AD group, I normally always do.

Today I created a site in MOSS 2007 that I want to save as a template to use on other site. I was unable to find the link in site settings: ' Save site as template", after searching the net I found this solution:

Just add " _layouts/savetmpl.aspx"  at your URL of your site, and their is your screen to save the site as template.

I don't known the source anymore, but here one of mike walsh:
