SharePoint Saturday Arabic

I’m really glad to announce that Registration is now open for participation in Live Online SharePoint Saturday Arabia. Live presentations, presented from 7:00am to 3:00pm (GMT+0), on March 27, 2010.

In order to hear the presenters, you will need headphones or computer speakers. There will be no conference call dial-in phone numbers.

The live blogging platform will allow for real time questions to be passed to the presenters. There will be multiple sessions running simultaneously so that we can present to a diversified audience with different technical needs.

EGYSUG: Another successful meeting

On 21st of November we had our November meeting which was a successful meeting, I am very pleased to say that we had over 30 attendee (Partners and customers) were present and very keen to know What’s new in SharePoint.

Event started with What’s new in SharePoint? by myself in which I introduced SharePoint workloads, SharePoint evolution and the new features in UI, Content management, workflows and BCS.

In the second session Mohamed Yehia dig into the feature in SharePoint for developers, illustrating Visual studio capabilities and SharePoint designer enhancements, also he demonstrated Linq for SharePoint and the Client object model.

The attendees feedback was great and the liked the sessions and asked for more sessions.

I will be delivering another session on 5th of December and the user group will organize another session on 19th of December

It is my pleasure to announce the official launch of SharePoint4Arabs (as one of the founders), the first website that offers free SharePoint Training for the Arabic SharePoint Community.

SharePoint4Arabs is the only online community presenting and explaining SharePoint technologies in Arabic. You can find a lot of videos, presentations and resources for SharePoint online discussing the different aspects of SharePoint (development, end users and infrastructure…etc.), SharePoint4Arabs.com is now one of these valuable resources targeted to Arabic speaking audience. Our major target out of all this is enriching the Arabic SharePoint Community and teaching Arabs the fastest growing technology in the history of Microsoft.
