Comments on: Site Collection Logical Architecture

We’ve decided to use SharePoint for certain intranet applications for its workflow capabilies. Currently we have a Dreamweaver/Coldfusion intranet site. I haven’t been able to find any advice online as to how one should add SharePoint to an existing site. I would prefer not to covert everything to SharePoint. Can I just set up SharePoint as a subsite ?

Hi,

I read your post while searching for more information about when using SCs. I have the following scenario, a docLib with over 50Gb of docs. do you think that spawning this doclib through several similiar doc libs in diferent Site Collections would be a good scenario? this would allow putting each SCs in a diferent content DB, put conceptually it seems a bit odd..

do you think SCs apply to this scenario?

I have refered to this link of yours everytime i started my information architecture in MOSS. The old post had great content plus excellent answers from you to queries from people. How can i get the same article with your answers back? Can you post that back?
