Books on SharePoint seem to be a a bit slow in hitting the market. While we wait for Dustin and James to write a book, here's one to tide you over:

	Microsoft SharePoint 2003: Building Microsoft Office Solutions By Scot P. Hillier
I ordered this and found it to be a basic intro for SharePoint developers. Covers all the basic stuff, and has some decent code samples. There is a nice section on Office integration including some good details on Smart Documents which was interesting since I haven't read much about them yet.

Sounds like Microsoft has decided to ship an update to Windows Server 2003 that will include WSS.  Story here.  Wonder if there's any new WSS goodies…
