I have just found out from a reliable source that Microsoft has announced an officila release date that will include products: Office 2007 system, Vista (yahooo!), and Exchange 2007!! Please not that Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 (gosh thats a lot of typing!)and Windows SharePoint Services V3 will be included as a part of this HUGE release of products.
This initial release will only be available to enterprise customers with the general consumer release to be available in the January 2007 time frame. I don't know about anyone else but I am super excited to see the final polished product! I am in dire need of a rebuild on my laptop but had decided to not rebuild until the release of Vista because of the pure PITA it is to rebuild ( I really should invest in a imaging product I know
).
I don't know about you guys but Nov.30 seems like its going to be an early Christmas present for all the geeks in the world
Here is an article that talks about the upcoming release: http://www.itwire.com.au/content/view/6820/52
Cheers!
